Soft play packages are usually designed around a stated age or development range. Tell the supplier the ages and number of children attending, then check their guidance for each item and how older children will be kept out of the play area.

Ask for the complete floor area including safety mats and access around the equipment. Measure the usable indoor or outdoor space, note doors and steps, and send venue photos so the supplier can recommend a package that fits comfortably.

Packages may include shapes, mats, a ball pit, ride-ons, fencing, delivery, setup and collection. Confirm the exact inventory, cleaning process, hire times, footwear or food rules and anything the venue or customer must provide.

Do not assume supervision is included. Ask the supplier what adult supervision and capacity they recommend, who is responsible during the booking, and how different ages should be separated. Keep the play area visible and follow the supplier's operating guidance.
